The dates for the 2014 AE/AOE Sailors Association annual reunion have been set for October 22 to 26th, 2014 at the Doubletree Airport Hotel in San Antonio. Registration begins on Wednesday the 22nd and events are planned for the rest of the week with the Grand Banquet Saturday night. San Antonio is the center of Texas history and its struggle for statehood. There are scheduled tours of the Alamo, the many early Mexican Missions surrounding the city, a RiverWalk barge trip with dinner on the River Thursday night. Friday is a trip to the LBJ Ranch & Visitors Center and Nimitz War Museum in beautiful Texas Hill Country Fredericksburg. I was on the Mazama ae9 during the Vietnam war was a Boatsman mate and a ammo passer I wish I could be at the reunion of the crew but I have no way of getting their I wish I had the money to do that that would be a dream come true
