Hello to all of you out there in veteran Navy land…..hope all is well in your life and family. Yes, I still remember the good old days of the 1967-1968 Mediterranean cruise. I occasionally pick up the old cruisebook and re-live those days. Hope all of you have a great future ahead of you, and thanks to “Joe” Busic for reminding me how today’s technology allows us to keep in touch with each other. Thanks for allowing me to be your postal clerk (PC) during this cruise.
Hey Abner, did I relieve you in early November ’68? I reported aboard on, as I recall, election day. I can’t remember iif you were still aboard or not. I made PC2 shortly before we left for the ’69 WestPac and had a hell of a great cruise. Who the hell left the stuffed cobra in the office?
