PETTY OFFICER

DAD WAS ON BOARD WHEN THE SUICIDE SUB BLEW UP. HE LOST A FRIEND NAMED MARSH. I WAS BORN WHEN DAD WAS 30 AND I ALWAYS BUGGED HIM ABOUT HIS NAVY TIME. HE SAID LET’S GET IT SQUARED AWAY! HE WAS A GREAT DAD AND I MISS HIM GREATLY. GO NAVY!

    Thanks for your post. We have had several crew who were on board when the Mazy was hit by a torpedo in 1944. Doc
