I don’t think my life would be the same without serving with you guys. I was driven to the Mazama in December ’65 by none other than Bill Gohde from the Cadmus, which was in Newport at the time. I remember all the events Bill Masterson wrote about…I remember the Ed Reilly humor…the great friendships, including Joe Ham’s…Doc treating my butt like a pin cushion when…I’ll leave it at that. Thanks, brothers of the sea!!
