J.R. Miller was on ship 1952-1955. Still resides in Dallas, TX today.
Hi Doc,
I live off Bryan Street in Dallas, we’re practically neighbors! Here are a few of the photos I have, there are more, but they are at the lake house. I could get them to you in the future. Do you have a crew member list from the Korea era? Poppa said he was one of the youngest on ship, so can’t imagine there are very many people still alive from his crew. He will be 80 this year, but still going strong! I told him about the reunion, he sounded really interested in going, but I think if there was someone else from his era that was interested in going as well, it would sweeten the deal.
Hi, my grandpa, J.R. Miller, was on the ship from Feb. ’52 – Sep. ’55, from Dallas, TX. I have a few photos that I’m happy to share if you’d like. Please provide an email address.
Kind regards,
Nicole Miller
