Being in different Divisions, I did not know Phil until years later when we launched the Cuban Blockade Survivors Association. I last saw Phil at the 50th Anniversary of the Blockade held at Mayport.

Phil passed away in November 2012, after battling cancer for some time.

May Phil have fair winds and a following sea.
