I had the honor of serving my country aboard on the USS Mazama AE-9 from 67-69. I was in first division and was a winch operator and coxswain for the liberty launch during the Mediterranean Cruise and later became a BM-3 . I enjoyed all my fellow shipmates from all divisions and was proud to serve my country with them aboard the Mazama.
